After checking in the hotel and relaxing for a while, in the afternoon, we will start exploring Siem Reap – The gate way to Angkor region. The first destination of this tour is Tonle Sap Lake – The largest freshwater lake of Southeast Asia. Tourists will have joyful time while taking a boat cruise around this nice lake where you can observe floating villages and people living in. The most wonderful thing of today is enjoying welcome dinner while watching Apsara Dance – the most famous Khmer traditional dance.
Discover Rolous Group, experience Banteay Srey and Banteay Samre
Today, tourists will have impressive moments of exploring the most ancient Khmer temples of Rolous Group. Ever being the first capital of Khmer Empire, Rolous Groups consists of four earliest structures built by Khmer: Balong, Lolei, Preah Ko and tiny Prasat Prei Monti. After having lunch with friendly local family, we will continue exploring stunning Banteay Srei. This temple was built in the 10th century and fames for the intricacy of its carvings. Being praised as “Jewel of Khmer art”, Banteay Srei owns amazingly delicate carved motifs and statues which surely lure your eyes. The last stop is Banteay Samre Temple - a Hindu temple in the Angkor Wat style. Tourists will have time to take amazingly beautiful photo of Pre Rub Temple at the sunset. Tourists will stay overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.
Enjoy Sras Srong and Ta Prohm, explore Angkor Wat and Angkor Thom
Getting up before the sunrise, tourists will have time to enjoy stunning Sras Srong and Taprohm shining in the early sun rights. You will be keen on exploring exotic and picturesque scenary of Taprohm, tree grows from the ruined temple. Then, you will come back the hotel for breakfast. After that, we will continue discovering Angkor Wat – UNESCO World Heritage Site. The largest Hindu Temple complex and religious monument in the world will surely fascinate tourists. In the afternoon, we will continue coming across Angkor Thom and Bayon Temple. Magnificent Angkor Thom used to be capital of Khmer Empire in the 12th century. Bayon Temple is world well-known for its stunning architecture with 54 high towers and giant four-face statues carved on stone. You may feel like stepping into an unreal, a holy world. Go further inside, you may feel breathless by the delicate carved works in Baphou, Elephant Terrace, Lepper King Terrace and Royal Place and ruined Preah Khan Temple. Tourists will stay overnight at hotel in Siem Reap.
Fly to Shihanouk Ville
After breakfast, tourists will have a short flight to Sihanouk Ville where will continue moving to Sihanouk Ville. After checking in the hotel, tourists will have free time to explore this coastal place. You may choose to go swimming or sunbathing or having massage on the beach. Sihanouk Ville is famous for fresh crabs, so tourists do not ever miss tasting this delicious dish. Stay overnight in Sihanouk Ville.
Explore pretty off-shore island near Sihanouk Ville, discover Koh Thas, enjoy optional activities
After breakfast, we will leave Ochhueteal Pier in the late morning (about 9.30) and move to Koh Thas Island. There are various exciting activities for tourists to choose there: Fishing, snorkeling, swimming, jump tubing. You will have great time lying on white sand beach, enjoy sweet cocktail. Then we will take boat to Koh Rong Samloem while enjoying buffet lunch on the boat. Tourists will have joyful time in Koh Rong Samloem before returning to Sihanouk Ville for overnight.
Travel to Phnom Penh, explore Royal Palace, glimpse Silver Pagoda, discover Independence Monument and National Museum.
In the morning, after breakfast, we will leave Sihanouk Ville and travel to Phnom Penh – the pretty capital of Cambodia. After a short rest, we will continue visiting sparkling and colorful Khmer-style Royal Palace. Built in 1866 by the Predecessors of King Norodom, the Royal Palace is the combination of Khmer traditional architecture and Napoleon architectural style. Royal Palace is an architectural complex of enchanting buildings: Throne Hall, Pochani Pavilion, Moonlight Pavilion, etc. Not far from Royal Palace is the Silver Pagoda which possesses national treasures such as gold and jeweled Buddha statues. Among them, a life-sized gold Maitreya Buddha decorated with 9584 diamonds is the most precious. The next destination is not less attractive than Royal Palace. National Museum which is now exhibiting nearly 5000 art antiques made from bronze, sandstone, gold, wood, etc built in traditional Khmer style will delight you. In the evening, tourists will have time to explore busy Phnom Penh at night and relax overnight in the hotel.
Visit Genocide Museum, go shopping in Russian Market
After breakfast, tourists will have chance to witness one of the most brutal part of the 20th century by paying a visit to Genocide Museum. Under the government of Khmer Rouge, it used to be a Tuol Sleng prison. From 1975 to 1979, about 17,000 people were imprisoned and tortured, many of them were brutally killed. We continue moving to Choeung Ek Museum (The Killing Fields) where Khmer Rouge Regime executed over one million from 1975 to 1979. Leaving from scaring and painful atmosphere, tourists will continue journey with Russian Market where you can buy a variety of souvenirs. At last, you will be transferred to the airport for your onward flights. End of our services.
