Dressing well in Cambodia is very important. You should wear neat and tidy.
When entering a temple, men should wear long pants and shirt. Woman should avoid shirts, miniskirts, halter-tops, etc (anything exposing your shoulders).
Greetings between Cambodians depend on the social relationship between the people. The traditional greeting is a bow combined with a bringing of two hands together putting on chest.
Cambodians believe that the soul resides in the head. Therefore, touching or pointing at the head is considered as rude.
Eye contact is kept minimal especially with people of higher rank in society.
Feet are considered the lowest form of the body and as such it is rude to point them at someone.
