Phnom Penh is the biggest shopping center in Cambodia. There are dozens of stores which sell products from clothes, bags, silk foot to perfumes, jewelry and souvenir, together with many galleries and supermarket. However, to experience the authentic shopping of Cambodians, tourists are highly recommended to step into Central Market – a traditional market in Phnom Penh. This market sells everything from jewelry to second hand clothes. Russian Market is a great suggestion for buying art objects, coins and miniature Buddha.  There is a large range of antiquities and curios for those prepared to ferret around the various stalls and there are also gold and silversmiths inside the market who can be seen custom making jewelry. This is one of the most popular markets in Phnom Penh with foreign residents and tourists who can spend many an interesting hour browsing before choosing the perfect gift. Tourists should remember to make bargain before buying anything, which may bring you a lot of fun.

Siem Reap

In Siem Reap, tourists will easily find big market like Old Market or Phsar Chas – one of the city’s biggest traditional markets. You will be amazed by the diversity of goods in these markets: traditional silverwork, silks, baskets, statues, carvings and traditional music instruments. Tourists may feel excited to buy amazingly nice souvenirs. Even for non-buyers, walking around markets in Siem Reap is still interesting when they have chance to have a deeper look into local people’s unique and colorful way of life. Especially, there are also some small boutique shops which sell high quality handicrafts like Cambodia traditional silk and artistic works.

Shihanoukville

Shihanoukville is also an attractive destination for shopping. Products are diversified from hand-loomed silk scarves, clothing, accessories, coffee, condiment, handmade cards, art works, etc. Besides, there are some small shops on the beach road which sell a variety of beachwear, jewelry, bags and items of Indochina seaside town.
