Visit Angkor Wat Complex

Recognized as UNESCO World Heritage Center, Angkor Wat is a unique architectural work and the symbol of Khmer civilization. Hundred-meter-long walls and lofty 65-meter-high towers in green forests make Angkor Wat is magnificent as well as mysterious. Just few kilometers far from Siem Reap, Angkor Wat is the top destination in Cambodia.

Visit Angkor Thom

Located in Siem Reap, not far from Angkor Wat, Angkor Thom (Great City) is the last and most enduring capital city of the Khmer Empire. Angkor Thom was built in the late 12th century by King Jayavarman VII. At the centre of Angkor Thom is Bayon – the Jayavarman’s state temple. Bayon has about 50 towers and four huge carved faces with closed eyes and strange smile which deserves to be the symbol of Khmer civilization in the most glorious period.

Visit Phnom Penh Royal Palace anh Silver Pagoda

Built in 1866 by Kinh Norodom, the Royal Palace is the home of the King and the Queen of Cambodia. The Palace grounds are opened for visiting except when the King is in residence. This architectural complex is the combination of French architecture in Napoleon III style and traditional Cambodia architecture. Including of amazing palatial buildings such as the Throne Hall, Moonlight Pavilion, Hor Shaman Phirun and Silver Pagoda, Phnom Penh Royal Palace is a wonderful destination.

Discover National Museum in Phnom Penh

Located in the north of Royal Palace, national Museum exhibits hundreds of ancient statues and sculptures which were collected from the Angkor Temples. There are more than 5,000 works of art ranging from 7th to 13th century in display. Being Cambodia’s largest museum of cultural history with nice houses and pretty garden outside, National Museum in Phnom Penh is a great suggestion for tourists when travelling in Cambodia.

Relax in the beach at Sihanoukville

Beach in Sihanoukville is not as beautiful as in Thailand. The sand is not truly white and the water is not turquoise, however, it still appears to be good. Beaches at Sihanokrlville are clean and unexploited which will bring tourists enjoyable times. There is nothing more awesome than sitting on the beach or sunbathing, enjoying fruit drinks and having massage.

Catching a tuk tuk

Tuk tuk is among the most popular image in Cambodia. Taking a seat back, relax and enjoy viewing the busy street is kind of interesting. You will listen about stories of Cambodia or enjoy a joke from friendly and humorous tuk tuk’s driver. Funny, cheap and unfamiliar, tuk tuk is a great way of travelling in Cambodia.

Taste crab at Kep

Kep is an absolutely fresh and delicious food in Cambodia and Kep is most famous for it. About 4 hour drive from Phnom Penh, Kep offer so fresh crab that when you order crab at a restaurant along the shore, the staff will fish out crabs from water and then cook them. Fresh and tasty, crab at Kep will be lingering on the tip of your tongue and remember it forever.

Eat Amok

Amok is a traditional Khmer curry made from meat or fish, lemon grass, coconut milk and some other ingredients. It is often served in a coconut and eaten together with rice. Attractive displayed and yummy, Amok is one of the best Cambodia dishes that tourists should not miss.

Discover the Central Market in Phnom Penh

Constructed in 1937, the Central Market is a large market in the shape of a dome with countless stalls of goods. The market opens from 7.00 to 17.00 and sell extensive amount of products ranging from gold and silver, antique coins,  flowers, food, fabric, souvenirs, seafood and uncountable other products. For tourists, Central Market is absolutely an “must see” stop.
